We carry several ranges of the latest independent eyewear collections including New Zealand designed and handcrafted European brands, designed to reflect your personality.
Utilising the services of a locally based ophthalmic glazing lab, we can reduce the delivery time of your new glasses and help the environment by reducing our carbon footprint. Our team focus is to create long lasting connections with our patients, education on ocular health and supporting local businesses within the community.

Roberta
Optometrist
Having twenty years’ experience caring for the eyes of her local Canterbury community, Roberta has a broad expertise in all aspects of optometry. She has an unwavering passion and places high value on patient education, preventative care and takes pride in helping her patients achieve their best visual performance.
Penny
Optometrist
When you have your eyes tested with Penny, you can expect to have a thorough eye examination and be presented with all your best optical and eyecare solutions. She hails from Amberley, and studied Optometry in Auckland, graduating with first class honours in 2009. Penny has a strong background in all aspects of optometry, specialising in children’s eyecare and treating patients with dry eye.
Amanda

Amanda has been an integral part of the optometry setting in both the UK and NZ since 1996, providing exceptional care and assistance to her patients. Having extensive skills and knowledge and qualifying as a dispensing optician in 2001, she takes pride in providing unique, quality, individual eyewear with personality to her local North Canterbury community, creating rapport and long-lasting relationships with her clients.

Alan does an excellent job multitasking as our dedicated, experienced clinical manager. His responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including managing all clinical duties.
Alans most endearing quality is his ability to connect with patients by adding humour to patient interactions, making them feel welcomed and comfortable throughout their visit. He loves being part of the local community and living the North Canterbury lifestyle.

Alex is thrilled to be starting his journey in to the world of optics. He is relishing the opportunity to develop his optical skills and knowledge and have a fulfilling career. Alex’s focus is to make sure each patient feels welcome and comfortable from the moment they enter our practice. He is excited about caring for North Canterbury’s eyecare needs.
